About Ashley
I believe therapy works best when you trust the person across from you. That connection is one of the strongest predictors of whether our relationship is successful, so my first job is to be someone you can be honest with, especially about the hard things.
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, which means I look at the whole picture: your relationships, your history, the family you grew up in. Struggles that look individual often make more sense in that wider context, where patterns and trauma can carry across generations. I bring a trauma-informed approach to recognize these patterns and work through them.
I work with women moving through life transitions, grief, postpartum issues, career changes, and other adjustments that come with new seasons of life. I also work with women navigating depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. With couples, I focus on communication, conflict, trust, and the differences that strain a relationship.
For clients who want it, I bring a faith perspective, honestly and without easy answers. For those who don't, the work stands on its own. I trained in faith-integrated therapy at Redeemer Counseling and am a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator.
Although I'm still a city person at heart, my husband and I moved to Colorado after many years together in New York and have been staying busy raising our young daughter and enjoying the Colorado outdoors. I love exploring new cultures and food, both out in the world and in my kitchen.
